ABOUT THE WORKSHOP EVENT
DAY ONE THURSDAY JULY 21st - ZOOM COSTUME CONSULTATION
Vixen will discuss ideas for each person’s project starting with where they’re at. No project is too big or small. You may be stuck on an existing project or be a complete beginner looking for inspiration on where to start. Together, we’ll figure out what your individual goals are with the class and what our plan of attack is going to be during the weekend.
DAY TWO SATURDAY JULY 23RD – GUIDED SHOPPING TRIP
Vixen DeVille will lead you on a guided tour of LA’s Fashion District.
- Discover the best places to get your fabric, trims, embellishments and hardware for the best prices.
- Gain hands-on advice from Vixen on the different qualities and uses of product for your burlesque act.
- Get inspired from the various displays on show or from digging around in the bargain boxes.

DAY TWO SUNDAY JULY 24TH – HOUR COSTUME CRAFTING CLASS
In her home studio in Hollywood, Vixen will guide you, step by step, in creating stage-worthy pieces with zero experience.
- Learn how to embellish and customise your existing items.
- Create your own items from scratch.
- Make amendments to existing items in order to make them functional for a strip act.
- All equipment is provided including;
